V-day gifts
I had a great Valentine's Day. On Saturday, Carter Wayne and Rodney went to Lows and made me a jewelry holder with a heart on it. CW couldn't wait to give it to me. He was so proud of it and I really do love it. What a sweetie. I got cards from all my men and Rodney gave me a spa day! Carter Wayne and Sawyer got Valentine baskets with a movie, candy, and two pair of pj's. 1 John 4:19 says, "We love because He first loved us." Thank you for loving us, Lord, and giving us the joy of loving others.

Girls' Weekend!
This is my only pic from our girls' weekend in February. It is Ashley P. looking at the view from our room at Big Cedar. It was like Vegas - you don't show the pics. Ha! :) Just kidding, my camera batteries died. Ashley P. took some pictures and when I get them I will post them. We had a blast! My kids went to my parents and Rodney went fishing. Ashley H. and Ashley P. spent the night at my house. We went out to eat and watched Julie and Julia. The next day we traveled to Big Cedar - so beautiful. We ate, got manicures, watched a "Say yest to the dress" marathon, ate, watched a chick flick, ate, slept in, and ate. It was relaxing and so fun. I am blessed to have so many great friends and so many of them have been around for a long time. Thanks for a great weekend, girls!
Making Valentine Cards
Carter Wayne had a great time making Valentine sacks for his classmates. Of course his buddy Lance got more stickers than anyone else. But to my dismay he informed me that Hope needed more stickers because he liked her. Say what!?! I simply said ok and we moved on. I didn't even ask anymore questions. No liking girls yet, please...The sack was cute and I hope "Hope" liked it. :) Moving on....
Sawyer at 8 months
Sawyer at 8 months is so fun. He weighs almost 23 pounds and is so heavy! He loves baby food, any kind. He has picked a favorite blanket. It is a small quilt my mom had made for him and it has ruffles around the edge. He LOVES to suck on the ruffles. He loves to laugh (still with his mouth closed) and talk very loud when brother is not around. I think he likes the sound of his own voice since he rarely gets to hear it. CW and I can be kind of loud. :) He loves to patty cake and he rolls wherever he wants to go. He is trying to get those legs under him and I fear crawling is not far off. My world is about to change. For now he enjoys sitting up and looking around. He bobs around to music and loves to take a bath. He sleeps all night and gets up anywhere from 6-7:30am and goes to bed around 7pm. He is still easy going but has been more sick this month. A few ear infections and a fever virus. He is so pitiful when he is sick, just wants to cuddle. Bless his heart. He takes around 3 bottles a day and some of them at 8 ounces of formula. He eats some baby food fruit in the morning and for lunch and dinner fruit and veggies. He is not interested in puffs, cheerios, or biter biscuits. In fact he doesn't really pick up anything and put it in his mouth. He can pick little things up, but he just likes to look at them. We will see how long that lasts. Sawyer LOVES his daddy and is so happy when he gets home. It is so sweet. But he is still mommy's little boy the rest of the day. What a little blessing!
I love food!
Snow, snow, and more snow...

Snow Day #3
Snow Day #3 and we were ready to get out of the house. We loaded up and went to church which is always open no matter the weather. Then we had a great lunch at Chili's. It was neat to see all the snow everywhere and some of the roads were still slick. We came home and took naps and had a low key evening. Carter Wayne never mentioned wanting to go in the snow. He was a little worn out from it. Tomorrow is Monday and Daddy will have to go back to work and take our car so we will be house locked. School is canceled. We will see what things we can come up with to do.
Snow Day #2
Saturday was snow day #2 and it was sunny all day. Rodney and Carter Wayne built a great snow man. We took Sawyer out for 5 seconds just to get a picture. He is 8 months old and has already been trough 3 snow storms. Carter Wayne got to get his monster truck out during the snow but daddy ended up pushing it most of the way. They were very tired when they finally came in. Rodney drove to Sonic and our wild dog followed him all the way to the main road, so Rodney had to open the back door and let him in. Walker loved his trip to Sonic. Another great day, but we need a sled and some snow suits.
