Go Hogs!

This past weekend was the first Razorback game on the hill. Lots of friends in town for the game and we were excited to see so many of them. I know we lost but it was still an exciting game. A passing game is so much more fun to watch than a constant running game that never works. There is my two cents, I am sure you feel enlightened. Thanks to my parents, the McGuires, Pointers, Fintons, Silveys, Czeschins, Lynne, and the Holeyfields for dropping by! We had a great time and can't wait to see you all again.

Benton County Fair

Last Friday we went to the Benton County Fair. It was an experience. Very different from the Arkansas State Fair I grew up going to, in more ways than one. CW LOVED the animals and I think Sawyer enjoyed it too. We didn't ride any rides. CW said he wasn't ready for that yet. So funny.

Labor Day in Mississippi

On Labor Day the boys and I traveled to Mississippi. It was Sawyer's first time to meet all of my mom's family. We had a big fish fry and lots of friends and family came. My aunts and grandpa (Papa) have continued to work on Mom Mitchel's old home and it is wonderful. They added a patio and a volleyball net. My Papa has worked so hard on the yard and it looks beautiful. It is always so special to be there and it pleases my Papa so much. Sawyer must have had a great time because he even rolled over - he hasn't done it since, but he did it there. Carter Wayne slept in the living room with the other kids. His first real sleepover, he is getting so big. We had the BEST time. Dad and Rodney had to stay behind to root on the Hogs in Little Rock. The Hogs can't win without them. :)

First Day of Mother's Day Out

On September the 3rd the boys started Mother's Day Out! We had taken a brake from it after I got pregnant. I wanted that one on one time with CW before we became a family of four. Then came the summer and finally it was time to go back. And I was a happy momma. CW will go two days a week and little man, Sawyer will go once a week. Their teachers are so sweet and the boys are having a great time. CW is learning so much and I am very pleased. I don't know who created Mother's Day Outs but I love them!

Rodney's WIC Project

In August my brilliant husband finished his first major project for Wal-Mart from start to finish. It involved debit like cards for those in the state funded Women, Infants and Children program. The project was a major win for Wal-Mart and its customers. Here are some of the pictures from the party Rodney threw for his team that worked so hard on the project. He really went all out with cake, punch, awards, real plates, the whole 9 yards. I am also proud to share that as a result of this project Rodney was associate of the month and he was given the SPARK award for excellence in customer service. AND he received a promotion! He is now a Project Lead! Rodney is such a wonderful husband and father, and he works so hard. It is so nice for me to see him appreciated and awarded for all that he does. I love him and am so very proud of all his accomplishments. Thanks for letting me brag on the love of my life.

Sawyer on September 3, 2009

Here is Sawyer at 3 months and two weeks. He is such a blessing to our family. Sawyer is the sweetest baby and so laid back. Just what this high strung momma needed. Thank you Lord for this calming breeze that has blown into our family.

Arvest Ballpark

After living here a year we finally made it to a Naturals baseball game. We met our friends the Daspits there. Their two boys, Lance and Grayson, are the same ages as Carter Wayne and Sawyer. Lance and Carter Wayne are becoming great friends, so sweet. It really is a fun place to go and hopefully we will go more next year.
