Spring Break #1

Our first two days of Spring Break were good and bad. Good because we were with my sweet family and I love going to their house. Bad because Carter Wayne had a little stomach bug and I forgot the pack and play for Sawyer. Dr. Brent got us some meds for CW, but Sawyer played musical beds the rest of the week. He fell out of the toddler bed twice, I guess he is not ready for that. We did get to see CalCal and TayTay. We love them so!!!! We enjoyed blue Popsicles and watching SPROUT.

T-Ball and Kite Flying

We had a little family time before the boys and I headed to my parents' house for Spring Break. We started practicing for t-ball which starts next week! Carter Wayne loved hitting the ball and running the bases. Sawyer was right behind him the first few rounds then retired to the dugout for a drink. This is the first year CW will play t-ball and Rodney will help coach. We are very excited. Sawyer also enjoyed playing in the car - don't all kids - while we flew a kite with CW. We ended the day by checking out some open houses - our favorite past time. :) It was a great family day!

Luck of the Irish

Here are the boys and I on St.Patty's Day. I just loved their little shirts they wore. So cute! Some of the pics Sawyer's teachers took in their classroom. Sawyer loves his Mrs. Kristie. He calls here NaNa. Super cute!

Dad's Lunch

Last week our Mother's Day Out hosted a lunch with dad day. The dads had hot wings and their favorite soda. They got to pick up their kids and have a special lunch with them in our main meeting area. It was so sweet to see all the dads coming in to be with their kiddos. Rodney was so proud to pick up his boys and eat with them. I am so blessed to have three handsome fellas in my life.

Let's Build Something Together

A few weeks ago my precious boys went to a Lowe's workshop for kids and parents. They built little basketball goals and had the best time. We are very excited about basketball around here lately because the Razorbacks have hired Mike Anderson to be our new coach! Bring on another National Championship! Hoping for the glory days to come back. We are even talking about getting a goal in the driveway. We love our HOGS!
My boys were beaming when they got home from Lowe's. They love their daddy so much and one of the reasons is because he makes time to be with them. Being a dad is the most important job to Rodney and I think he is wonderful at it.

Strike a Pose

A few weeks ago we were invited to be part of a mini photo shoot for the boys' Mother's Day Out program. I was so excited. The boys were given outfits to wear from Gymboree and they looked so cute. This is the only pic I got of Sawyer and Carter Wayne was running all over the place. I am posting this because I am not sure either of them will make the "final cut". They did not enjoy having their picture taken. I don't know how child star moms do it. I was a wreck when we were done. Trying to keep them from messing up their hair or clothes. Trying to get them to pose or just smile. Just crazy. I do think my boys are precious, but I don't believe we have a future in show business.

Rodney"s Birthday Part 2

The Birthday celebration continued when we met Rodney's family in Russellville at Cracker Barrel. We had so much fun. After eating we even did a little shopping. Yes, there is shopping in Russellville - I know, who would have guessed it? We loved seeing our sweet family and still wish we lived closer to them all. :)

Look who is registering for Kindergarten...

and he is super excited about it! I can't believe my baby is officially going to school next year. It breaks my heart, but at the same time it feels right. This is the next step, ready or not. I am very pleased with the school he got in to and I know he will love it. I think Sawyer and I will be so bored without our CW. He entertains us both. Where has the time gone?????

Rodney's Birthday

Our favorite guy celebrated his 30 something birthday this March. The boys and I made him breakfast and brought it to him in bed. He got lots of presents and lots of love. We also celebrated with our buddies the Silveys by enjoying some delicious steaks! Happy birthday to the love of my life. You are an amazing father, a loving husband, and a special man of God. We love you!!!!
