Happy Easter
We had a wonderful and low key Easter. These boys love each other one minute and then beat each other up the next! Brothers! I am so thankful that Christ is the center of this home. I pray that our boys are beginning to grasp what Easter really is about.

Crystal Bridges
In April, the Crystal Bridges Art Museum had an event for preschoolers and we went. Crystal Bridges was amazing! An art museum like that just a few minutes from our house? Very cool! It was the very first time that the boys and I had ever gone and we had so much fun. My best friend, Ashley, gave a guided tour - she knows everything about art. We then headed down to the hands on room where the kids could touch art, have a pupet show, you name it. Then we went to the craft room and got to do an activity. We walked around outside - the place is breath taking. We then had a story time that tied into the art pieces that the kids had seen that day. It was one of my favorite activities we have done. Crystal Bridges is a must see!
Friends and Neighbors
Our buddies, the Tates, moved 3 streets down from us! We love it! The boys will be at the same school next year and their daughter and Sawyer are only a year apart. So nice to have such good friends living so very close to us. :)
Room Make Over and Garage Clean Up
My sweet Aunt Ann gave us another twin bed for Sawyer. We decided to redo the boys' room since they were now sharing a room. Rodney - with a little help from the boys - painted both beds. The room looks so good and I just love having the boys together. Sweet memories. We also spent a weekend cleaning up the garage. It looks great!
Spring Break
This Spring Break the boys and I headed down to see my mom and dad. We got to spend time with Cal Cal and Tay Tay as well. Easter was still a month away, but we decided to make a bunny cake and dye Easter eggs. It was so fun!!!
Angry Birds!!!
We got iphones in February and by March we were obsessed with Angry Birds. Here is my little artist creating his own army of Angry Birds!
Soccer Sawyer
Sawyer participated in a 6 week soccer program called Happy Feet. He loved it! He learned a lot of basics. Here he is with his coach who was great! I mean, who has the patience to teach ten 2 year olds how to play soccer? Amazing! We can't wait for this summer when he gets to play on a team!
Spring Play Dates
Spring was full of fun play dates, especially since it was so warm so early. Here is a memorable one that involved Ashley and I plus 8 kids! We had our kids plau Leslie amd her neighbor Michelle's kids. It was wild but so very fun!
Rodney's 39th Birthday
We had a low key birthday for Rodney, but that is the way he likes them. We went to church, ate at McAlister's, then home for cake. It was a special day and we are so thankful Rodney and all he does for our little family! Happy Birthday! P.S. He rarely reads this blog so I can totally put his age on here!
Cake Making 101
In March is our favorite guy's birthday - RODNEY! The boys and I had a great time the day before making Daddy's favorite birthday cake - strawberry cake. The boys were a big help and so excited to help with something special for the best Daddy in the world.
Spring Soccer
The boys were very excited about soccer this spring. Carter Wayne would be with his same team and Sawyer was getting to play for the FIRST time. Here they are in their "practice" gear. Ready to go!
