Good Morning!

Sawyer doesn't mind waiting for his breakfast as long as he has someone to wait with him!

Benton County Fair!

We went to the Benton County Fair with our buddies the Hollands and it was a night of firsts. CW rode a roller coaster ride for the first time and love it. Sawyer swatted a lemur for the first time. And our stroller was attacked by a monkey in a diaper for the first time. Get me some Lysol! The fair really was fun and the kids had such a good time. But all of a sudden I realize why my parents wouldn't buy me all the tickets in the world. 5 tickets for one ride at a dollar a ticket adds up quick. I am so growing up! Next year we will go on bracelet day! Ha!

Peyton and Eden

Our little buddies Peyton and Eden got to come over and play one afternoon and we had a blast. We even made some crafts - thanks mom for the craft box. It did come in handy! Such sweet little friends and I love that Sawyer can get all in the mix too!

Road Trip Tired

We had a great time in Batesville but we were so tired when we got home. By we I mean Rodney and I - the boys were ready to play!

Greenfield Reunion

We had a wonderful, long weekend in Batesville. We got to spend quality time with family and enjoy the Greenfield reunion. It is always so hot but always so fun.

Sawyer's Tubes

My sweet baby had to get tubes in his ears. We loaded the kids up at 5:30am and went to the hospital. The whole procedure took 5 minutes and we were home before 10am. He was a little trooper. We all took naps and then headed to Batesville. You can tell he doesn't feel too good in the car seat picture, but I know tubes are already working. He was sick the next week and the doctor said all the drainage from his ears (which was lots) would have been clogging his ears without the tubes. No wonder he was sick all the time. We hope now that with tubes he won't get as sick and his balance will improve to help him walk. I love that sweet boy and am so proud of how well he did in the hospital. And his big brother did well also. He actually looks like he is going to a party, doesn't he?

Guess who...

took 3 steps on his own??? Mr. 15 month old Sawyer Ron! It happened in the living room, all of us were there. Sawyer was walking with his daddy and his daddy let go and he walked three steps towards me. And the crowd went wild!!! (Rodney, me and CW). Who knows when it will happen again but it is coming...

McAlister's will NEVER be the same

The Silvey's came up to go to JumpZone and out to eat with us. Last chance playdates before school starts for everyone. O say that we made ourselves know in the restaurant would be an understatement. The place was packed so Leslie was ordering and watching three of the kids while Sawyer and I gave evil looks to people taking their sweet time at the table. The inevitable breakdowns began and we just had to laugh. The whole place knew we were there and they probably applauded when we left. But what are you going to do? Stay home? Not us!So thankful for a friend like Leslie who doesn't care when my kids are out of control and loves them, and me, just the same! Thanks for the memorable time Silveys!

Big Brothers

The other half of the Davis twins got to spend the night recently. Joshua will be up here for school and we loved having him over. He and Andrew are very special to us and I love for my boys to be around brothers who love and look out for one another. I hope they follow suit. (The winter pic is Andrew this past January - I find it interesting that Andrew came the coldest part of the year and Joshua the hottest).
