Happy Valentine's Day!
On Valentine's Day the boys woke up to special presents including new shirts and PJ's. They looked so cute. Their Valentine parties weren't till later in the week but, I put special valentines in all my boys' lunches. After school I treated them to Sonic. Sawyer enjoyed a goody from a friend at school, but CW wanted ice cream. Love was in the air because these boys were so sweet to each other all day - no, they really were. Sitting by each other at dinner and cuddling before bed. It was a sweet day and I was reminded of all the love I have in my life.
What a Weekend!
Well, we went a little overboard the weekend after all the snow. We had been so cooped up for so long that when we got out - we stayed out! Friday night we went to the Hollands. Saturday morning a bowling birthday party. We shopped all day Saturday. Saturday night we drove to Fayetteville to be with the Silvey's. Sunday was church then lunch at Gift and Linda's. Did I mention no naps? After lunch we got home and had about 30 minutes before the next activity and we were spent. We decided to cancel our plans. Thank goodness because poor Sawyer fell asleep in his highchair. He has never done that! Crazy! Glad we finally stayed home and got the rest we needed, but we definitely had a wonderful weekend.
Friends
Our sweet friends Gift and Linda had us over for Sunday lunch a couple of weeks ago. She is an amazing cook and made food from their home country of Malawi. They have three boys so our kids were in heaven! They are the most loving people I have ever met and they feel like family. I believe that God brought them into our lives after Rodney's trip to Malawi to give him a sweet connection to the country that still holds his heart. Rodney will be headed back to Malawi in June and I am so excited for him. I am so thankful God brought Gift and Linda into out lives.

What can I Say? SNOW
We walked all around the neighborhood and jumped in the snow. Sawyer wasn't a fan but he stuck it out for brother. Mostly we carried him. Our friend Ira and his siblings had made the coolest fort - impressive. CW didn't ask to sled, or build a snowman and he didn't cry when it was time to come in. Like I said the novelty had definitely worn off. :) Rodney did shovel the drive and prepped the alleyway for a Sonic run. Did I mention how much I love him?!?
