One of our sweetest friends turned 6. Happy Birthday Olivia Grace. She had an awesome gymnastics birthday party. My camera died and I only got these two pics of Sawyer and CW waiting on cupcakes. I also threw in some fun old pics of CW and OG. We love you Olivia Grace - you are a sweet girl and we are so proud of you!!!
This Fall Rodney and I started leading a Nearly/Newly married small group at our church. We LOVE it! The longest any of the couples have been married is almost 2 years. Some have been married 3 months and we have two engaged couples. We just finished The Five Love Languages - a personal favorite of mine and Rodney's. Next we are going to do a devotional called Marriage 101. These couples are so precious and sweet. They are eager to come and share, it has really blessed my heart. Rodney and I have been married for 7 years and we are learning a lot as well! Here we all are at our first party. They are all so fun!
My friend Sarah organized a trip to the Bentonville fire station in September. The group is called Toddler Toes and it includes a lot of moms in our church, but we are encouraged to invite other moms, too. Sawyer had a blast and it was fun for him to get to do something special while brother was at school. The fireman were so nice and gave a wonderful tour. The station is fairly new and super nice. I was hoping it might inspire Sawyer to be a fireman for Halloween. No such luck. His brother decided he wants to be a ghost for Halloween (which is not going to happen) therefore Sawyer wants to be one too. Of course!
We have had such a fun soccer season. The kids are starting to improve, but most of all they are having a good time. Half of the work for Sarah (Grayson and Lance's mom) and I is keeping the little boys entertained. They think they are big like their brothers and want to be on the field - so they run on our there every chance they get. Things we have tried to "distract" them include trains, snacks, movies on phones and portable DVD players, snacks, trucks, and did I mention snacks. :) Sawyer and Grayson can't wait to play soccer! Little cuties!
My mom's favorite thing about Razorback games is her one on one time with the boys. They love their Nee Nee and all the "projects" they do while we are at the games. Thank you, MOM! Love you!
We went to Little Rock in September to see the Razorbacks stomp on New Mexico. They did a tribute to September 11 - it has been 10 years, can you believe that. Still hurts to see those images. The fans were supposed to wear red or white based on their seat and we were wearing white. The student section wore blue and the whole place looked like one big flag. Very cool. My sweet dad got us these shirts for us and we were happy to wear them. The stands looked awesome. It was such fun game! My uncle John and his granddaughter Audrey met at my parents house to ride with us. My uncle John is so funny and Audrey is a special young lady. We are so proud of her and her sweet heart. My girl , Calli kept me laughing through the whole game, as always. I know I have said it before, but I feel like this is our year, Razorbacks!!!Go Hogs!
