After being cooped up in the house for days with illness we were ready to hit the town. We went on a drive, had lunch at Chili's, and drove some more. We had a great family day and it was great to see the snow. We had an appetizer and dessert at Chili's so you know it was Christmas!

Our Christmas Day in Bentonville
After being cooped up in the house for days with illness we were ready to hit the town. We went on a drive, had lunch at Chili's, and drove some more. We had a great family day and it was great to see the snow. We had an appetizer and dessert at Chili's so you know it was Christmas!
Christmas Morning
We had a wonderful Christmas morning even if it did have to be celebrated on the 26th. Santa came a day late because of our stomach bug. Carter Wayne loved his new bike, weed eater and computer game. Sawyer got a Ball popper that he LOVES and a few other gifts. Both the boys got much needed clothes which momma loved. Santa likes his banana and chocolates we left him. I think he understood we were not up for making cookies. It blows my mind that I wake up on Christmas morning and I have a gorgeous husband and two beautiful boys to make my family memories with. God has been so very good to me in many ways and then to give me all I ever dreamed of? It is overwhelming. Merry Christmas!
Sawyer at 7 months
Sawyer at 7 months is as cute as ever. He weighs 22 pounds!!! The boy is heavy. He loves to sit up and has a great time doing it, until he falls backwards. He has the sweetest laugh but still doesn't open his mouth very wide. He talks a lot at home but is a little shy in public. Recently we were somewhere and he wouldn't talk the whole time but when we got in the car he talked the whole way home. It is so funny. He likes rolling on the floor and he scoots his legs under him but no crawling yet. His daddy works with him every night but he isn't getting any help from me. I am just not ready for him to crawl yet. Especially when we still had the Christmas tree up. He LOVES to play patty cake and he loves baby food. He will eat anything. He has slowed down on his bottles but he still loves them a lot. He says moma an dada but not to anyone in particular. We think he says Buba to Carter Wayne. Carter Wayne is convinced he does and that they talk to one another. Sawyer does have a jealous streak. If he is sitting in your lap and CW comes to get in your lap also, Sawyer immediately starts crying. Very interesting. Our butterball is growing up and we are loving every minute of it!

First Bath Together
Blizzard in Arkansas???
Christmas week was quite a week for the Greenfield family. Rodney got really sick Monday night and didn't start feeling better until Thursday morning. That's when I got very sick. So Santa didn't make it to our house Christmas Eve - I guess he didn't want to catch anything. Luckily we have little ones that didn't notice. But we did have a white Christmas, I enjoyed it from my bed as I recovered. Needless to say even if we hadn't been sick we were snowed in and that meant no going home for Christmas. Very sad but we will simply post pone our family Christmas to next weekend. What a week!
