Congrats Amanda & Paul

We had a small couples' shower for our friends Paul and Amanda. They got married in April. It was so fun and we got into a heated catchphrase match between the girls and the guys. I believe the girls won in the end but I could be making that up. So fun to be around newlyweds - if only to warn them to wait to have kids. Ha! Just kidding!

Mother's Day and Baby Dedication

What a special Mother's Day we had! My mom, Rodney's mom, and two of Rodney's grandma's were here with us. We also had baby dedication at church. We got corsages for the moms and so enjoyed getting to all worship together at church. I will post a family pic later of dedication.

Sawyer's First Birthday Party

Last Saturday we celebrated Sawyer's first birthday. We had a great party at home with hot dogs, chips, drinks, cake, ice cream and cookies. We were blessed to have so many friends and family there. I can't believe my little baby is turning one!!!! It has been a wonderful year and I am so thankful that God gave us this laid back little boy. We love him so much!!!

Poor Sausey!

Our sweet baby had to be in the hospital for pneumonia last weekend. It was awful. It came on so fast and he bounced back so quickly too! We are blessed to be under the wonderful care of our best buddy, Dr. Brent and are so thankful for him and the other staff at his clinic. I am not a fan of baby IVs, chest x-rays, or oxygen. We survived and are so glad to be home. We are thankful for the Pointers who watched CW until my parents could get here and our wonderful new church family that showered us with prayers, visits, texts, food, sonic drinks and love. I have a new burden for anyone who has to be in the hospital with their little one - what a tough road. My prayers will be more fervent for those who I hear of having to be in the hospital with their kids. Sawyer is doing great and was even up for his first birthday party and baby dedication. Spring is Here!

We are ready for warmer weather. Soccer, rides in the truck with the windows down, yard work, anything that involves not being in the house - we are into!

I hate the Hogs Spring Practice!

Well, two strikes and you are out with me! Raorfest last year it poured and it did this year. Plus it was cold! And I believe this is where Sawyer began his bout with pneumonia that ended us up in the hospital! So I love the Hogs, I love football, but I will not be attending Raorfest anymore! I did love having my parent s, Tay Tay and Cal Cal here too. We had a blast! (Remember that my last letter in the ABC's does not work R A _ O R F E S T, you fill in the blank.)

Play date at the "Lake"

The park we like to go to has a lake so CW always says he wants to go to the lake! We met some buddies there for a play date a few weeks ago and had a blast. The pic of CW and Lance says it all. They are the best of friends and it is so cute!
