Last Day of Mother's Day Out

First day of Mother's Day Out

Last Day of Mother's Day Out

These boys have really grown up this "school" year. We will REALLY miss Mother's Day Out this summer. We had a great experience and look forward to it again in a few months!

Last Soccer Game

Carter Wayne had his last soccer game and medal ceremony a few weeks ago. He had a great season and a really good coach. He was so proud of his medal. It was a fun season, except they put the little kids' games at 2 in the afternoon. Right in the middle of nap time, so we saw a lot of break downs. One thing is for sure CW loved scoring a few goals, running, being with the other kids AND the snacks at the end. Way to go CW! We are proud of you say we are proud of you!!!

Ainsley turns 5!

We went to a friends CUTE birthday party at a local bookstore. It was so sweet and the boys had fun. Happy Birthday, Ainsley! Thank you for being our friend!

Sawyer's Actual Birthday

On Sawyer's actual birthday we had his favorite meal of noodles and red sauce. We got cupcakes from the new cupcake store and they were delicious! Then we opened a few gifts. Low key and lots of fun. Just the way we like it!

Excuse me... Coach?

One of the perks of living in NW Arkansas is that you might just get to run into a Razorback. We were out shopping recently and CW had to use the bathroom so we went into Coldstone. I felt bad for just using their bathroom so we got in line to buy something. Are you see my ice cream thought process here? And right in front of us was Coach Petrino of the Arkansas Razorbacks and his sweet family. I of course bothered him. :) He was so nice. I asked him if he would mind taking a picture with my boys and he graciously agreed. I introduced him to Carter Wayne and CW shook his hand. It was so fun. Sawyer wasn't looking but I was already interrupting the man's family time so I didn't want to make him take the 10 pics it takes to get Sawyer to look. I immediately called my dad and Rodney and they were so jealous. I know CW will love this pic some day and Sawyer will be so mad that he isn't looking. It is amazing what you will do for your kids. Who am I kidding? I would have taken the pic with him myself if the boys weren't there.

Sawyer's One Year Checkup

Sawyer had his one year check up a few weeks ago. We went to Fayetteville to see Dr. Silvey and were able to eat lunch with our best buds Olivia Grace, Leslie, and sweet Annalyse. Sawyer weighed 24 pounds (75%). He is 30 inches (60%) long. He will have to get tubes this summer because of all his ear infections but we saw that coming. He is progressing nicely. Pulling up on things and trying to take a few steps. He loves to eat and he is learning to like a sippy cup. He is down to one or two bottles a day. He could totally give them up but mommy isn't ready. :)He loves milk, but who wouldn't? Formula is so gross! He is getting quite a personality. He has a little temper and he is starting to stand up to his brother. He only plays with "his" toys when brother is around. But if brother is around, he wants to play with CW's stuff and it makes CW so mad. Sawyer is a sweetheart with killer eyes that just melt you. Can't believe my little baby is one and my big boy is almost 4. It is almost too much for my heart to handle. I am so blessed!!!

Congrats Amanda & Paul

We had a small couples' shower for our friends Paul and Amanda. They got married in April. It was so fun and we got into a heated catchphrase match between the girls and the guys. I believe the girls won in the end but I could be making that up. So fun to be around newlyweds - if only to warn them to wait to have kids. Ha! Just kidding!
