Mt.View Quick Trip

After our trip to Batesville we went down the road to Mt.View and visited my cousin, Kalah. She and I grew up together and used to have the best times visiting each other. She has 4 of the sweetest kids. Eli, Mabry, Kiley and the newest addition - Sophie May. Mabry and Carter Wayne are about a month apart in age. While Kiley and Sawyer are only a few weeks apart. It was such a hoot to get them together. We dropped by on our way to Little Rock and Kalah ordered pizza for us. The kids had a picnic in the yard and had the best time. It is just so sweet to see our kids together. Brings back so many memories!!!

June: Last Day in Batesville

Our last full day at Nonna and PawPaw Kendall's we got to see lots of family. Aunt DeeDee, Granny and Arlen, MaMaw Verne, Allison, some more cousins, plus great aunts and uncles. It was wonderful to be with so many people we love and haven't seen in awhile. It made our daddy being halfway across the world a little easier to handle.

Visiting Ma and Pa

While in Batesville we headed out to see Rodney's grandparents, Ma and Pa Greenfield. Denise and Brittany knew we were coming but it was a total surprise to Ma and and Pa. I gabbed inside with Ma, Brittany and Denise while the boys kept an eye on things outside with Pa. Actually Sawyer kept coming in and out the whole time wanting a hot dog from Ma. Little stinker!

First stop: Batesville

Nonna and PawPaw Kendall bought this great pool for the boys to play in while we were at their house. They loved it!

Way back...

let's start from the beginning - or where I left off. Rodney left for Africa June 21 and the boys and I made preparations for our tour of the mountains and the Delta. What is any trip without a stop at your local Wal-Mart!So here we are stocking up for our journey.

Carter Wayne turns Five

Daddy was in Africa on Carter Wayne's 5th birthday so we waited till Rodney got home to celebrate. Lucky for us Carter Wayne is young and doesn't look at a calendar so he didn't realize we "moved" his birthday.

How old are you Carter Wayne????
