Trunk or Treat

The Sunday night before Halloween we went to the Trunk or Treat at Carter Wayne's school. The boys had so much fun and we got to walk around with Caroline and Noah a little, too. The boys got into the games and the bouncy houses. Of course they loved the hot dogs. Their favorite game was racing these huge remote control cars. Daddy helped Sawyer and CW could operate his own. They loved it. I love my sweet little family so much!

We caused a stir...

Between the crowd our professional pumpkins drew and the people wanting to take pictures in front of our "spooky boo" we were a hit Halloween night. We have so many trick or treaters in our neighborhood that we just set up camp outside to give out candy. I was so proud for Rodney and CW that so many people liked their pumpkins. It was fun to see parents wanting their kids to pose in front of our decorations, too. Felt like a celebrity. Doesn't take much to get me excited!

Carving Pumpkins

We so enjoyed carving pumpkins this year. Rodney and Carter Wayne did some elaborate carvings. I was so impressed. I was in charge of getting the "guts" out of the pumpkins and Sawyer was in charge of keeping us laughing. CW was sooo proud of the finished product. He and his daddy worked so hard. Fun family times.

You have arrived...

They say at Wal-mart that if you have walls (not necessarily a ceiling) around your office you have arrived. Well in that sense my sweet hubby has arrived. :) Here is Rodney in his new office. Four walls and a door, baby! We are so happy that Rodney got to go back to ISD - he had wanted to for awhile. The best part of his new position is that he is managing more people, which is such a strength of his. We are so proud of him and the way he seeks to show God's glory in all he does. Love you Rodney!

Trick or Treating at Daddy's Work

We went to trick or treat at Daddy's work the Friday before Halloween. They had TONS of candy, train rides, free food, bouncy houses, the works. The boys and us had a blast. Candy overload is an understatement when describing theses little trains. But neither of them got sick this year so that was a plus! ;)

It is a Traintastic Halloween!

Here are my sweet little trains. Sawyer as "James" and Carter Wayne as "Thomas"!

Harvest Festival

In October Carter Wayne had a Harvest Festival at school. They could come as a farmer, cowboy, or farm animal. Carter Wayne LOVED dressing up and they had the best time. He is so enjoying his new school this year!
