Big Game!

We played #1 Alabama and man did we almost take them down. But unfortunately "almost" is the story of a Razorback fan's life. I will say this - the crowd was on fire and the game was awesome. My dad was on the big screen and we were in the corner of the screen. Someone I know saw us so you know I am not making it up. So cool! We enjoyed a fabulous tailgate party at the Silvey's house. They always do it up right. I also got to see my cousin, Kalah, at the game. After the game was over we just sat in our seats like bumps on a log. It was so depressing. Then we came home, drowned our sorrows in Chili's take out and went to bed. We were all asleep by 9pm. Despite the loss it was such a FUN weekend. Proud of my HOGS.

Cousins

My wonderful cousins from Mt.View came up for the Alabama game and it was so awesome to get our families together. My cousin Kalah and I are just a few months apart. We both had our last two kids around the same times. Mabry and Kiley are 4 and 1 just like CW and Sawyer. Kalah and her husband plus the kids came to town, along with my aunt Brenda. Kalah's sister Kassie and her boyfriend came down from Missouri and we had ourselves a little reunion. It was almost surreal to be sitting around the table with my cousins and the kids running in and out of the room. I kept thinking about my Granny's house in Mt.View. The family would be sitting around the dining table and us kids would crawl around under the table listening to them. It was so special to be with my precious family and I KNOW Granny was smiling down on us!

Did I mention...

Sawyer is walking and loving every minute of it!!!!

Casual Sunday

Ok the fight that occurs over clothes at our house is epic! This is an example of a Sunday when CW won the battle, but I will win the war. I think. He still looks cute so I just need to let it go. I did have him go with me to buy his outfit for the first day of school so he would actually wear it and that worked out for me. But if he wants to wear shorts and tennis shoes with no socks to church - God doesn't really care - does he? I don't think so. God was probably more happy with the fact that we went to church to praise Him with smiles on our faces and joy in our hearts as opposed to screaming at each other. :)

First LR Razorback Game

First Day at KDO

The boys had a great first day at school. They love their teachers and their friends. CW's teacher is Mrs. Cathy and she is so sweet. It was nice being there with them and seeing first hand what they are doing. I didn't "love" being in the classroom with the little ones, but they have asked me to be a hall coordinator. I mostly help out the teachers and I will be on the three's hall. I love it! The best part is that the boys go to school free and I still get a paycheck. I love the people I work with and it is only 10 hours a week. Looking forward to a great year!

First Day of School

Well I am back working. I was asked to help out at the KDO program at our church and I started by subbing on the first day. So that meant we were all up for the first day of KDO. I cooked eggs for the boys so they would have protein to get them through the day - and me!
