Picnic at the Duck Pond

Since the guys went to the Cotton Bowl, I took the boys to see my mom. Carter Wayne came up with this big plan for him, Sawyer and NeeNee to have a picnic on Saturday. He was so excited about it. That Friday night he made a "picnic mat" that was a big sheet of paper he and Sawyer colored. He packed a lunch box for all three of them. He also packed bread for the ducks near mom's house. He came up with all the ideas and it was so sweet. They had the best picnic ever - as you can see. I just love that little boy's imagination. And when something he plans actually happens, he is so stinking excited. What a precious boy!

Go Hogs!!!

Dad and Rodney had a wonderful time at the Cotton Bowl, and even better - we won!!!. Here they are right before they hit the road headed to Dallas. Can you tell they were SUPER excited? They took lots more pics with my Dad's iPhone, but he doesn't know how to use it so it will be awhile before I get those on here. ;) We end the season with an 11-2 record, a major Bowl win, and the only two teams we lost to competed in the National Championship against one another. I call that a banner year my friends. Oh Lord it's hard to be humble, when you're an Arkansas Razorback fan - Go Hogs!

Look who is going...

to the Cotton Bowl! My dad gave Rodney (and himself) tickets to the Cotton Bowl in Dallas. They leave on Friday and they are so excited. They both have never been to a bowl game and they can not wait! I am so hoping for a win! What a great start to 2012. Go Hogs!!!!

Arts and Crafts at Nonna's House

We brought lots of crafts that the boys got for Christmas to their Nonna's house. They had the best time putting together a train, painting it, coloring and drawing on their new dry erase table. These boys LOVE to paint! It is very messy, hence their lack of clothes. Messy but so fun!

Christmas in Batesville

Christmas Day we traveled to Batesville. We had a wonderful dinner and opened presents with lots of family there. The boys got a huge sled from their Nonna and Paw Paw Kendall that, as you can see, they LOVED. They opened their presents sitting in it. They watched TV in it. They played in it. They love that sled. Now all we need is some snow. The boys want lots of snow they said. When it comes we will be prepared this year for sure!

Christmas Morning

The boys slept till 7:30am - I wonder how many years that will happen. They came in our room and said "We got up!" So sweet! So we headed down the hall to see what Santa brought. The boys loved all the gifts - their Cranky crane was the favorite gift by far. Santa even brought Walker a bone and a rubber chicken. He was thrilled! Carter Wayne was a little upset that Rodney and I didn't get anything. He told my mom I was on the naughty list. I tried to explain that his daddy and I told Santa to change our gifts to ones for them. I don't think he was buying that one. It was sweet for him to think of us though. :)

Santa Claus came to our house!
