Snow Day #1

Well, snow has come to NW Arkansas in a big way! Friday was the first snow day and Rodney got to work from home. I took CW to play that morning and it was so cold. We walked up to the school and played with his small monster truck that he was dying to take in the snow. That afternoon Rodney took CW out and they played with Walker. CW loved making snow angels. That night we made snow cream - which I have never made before. Then the boys played Candyland and SpongeBob Operation. Sawyer was the banker and he loved it. He was babbeling the whole time and laughing. It was such a fun snow day. Walker loves this weather because he becomes an inside dog for a few days. I don't mind bad weather as long as the power stays on and we have plenty to eat!

A Warm Day!

We finally had one warm day and CW got to test his new bike in the neighborhood. He had been riding in the garage since Christmas. He was so happy. He waved at everyone we saw. Yelled out to people walking their dogs. He said said stuff like "This is the bike Santa brought me!" "Nona got me this helmet - Thomas is on it!" "I like your dog, he's cute!" All this was yelled at them top of his lungs. :) Sawyer loved watching his brother ride, it was so cute. Carter Wayne would stop wherever there was a break in the sidewalk for the road and make me carry his bike across the street. He would look both ways and tell us when we could go. He is so safety conscious. The he got where he wouldn't ride across driveways so I knew it was time to come home. We had the best time and he is really good on the bike. I can't believe how fast he is growing up!

Introducing...

Annalyse Claire! The newest addition to the Silvey family. This little blessing came on January 13th and we couldn't be happier for our best buds. What a great way to start the new year. She is as beautiful as her mommy and big sister. We love you, Annalyse and look forward to watching you grow up!

When daddy is away...

in our PJ's we stay. Here are some pics when Rodney was out of town on business for a couple of days.

Bowling!!!

While Andrew was here we took CW bowling for the first time. He loved it. Our buddy John Thomas met us there and needless to say I barely beat Carter Wayne. Sawyer was a trooper but I don't think he was too into the whole bowling thing. He just hates not getting to play. :) His day will come.

Brother Andrew comes to Visit

When we headed back to NW Arkansas one of our favorite people followed us up. Rodney and I have know Andrew since he was a 6th grader - Rodney became his Sunday school teacher because that group of boys ran off their other one. :) He is a Senior now and came to job shadow Rodney. We had such a good time. Carter Wayne adores Andrew and enjoyed having someone to play with. The boys watched football constantly and were happy as little larks. We love you Andrew!

Christmas at NeeNee and Paw Paw's

Next stop was my parents' house. Rodney had to head back to NW Arkansas because of the coming ice storm and he needed to be able to get to work. The boys and I spent the next few days in LR. We had the best time and were sad to leave. OH, and we attempted to make a Gingerbread House. Yeah, that didn't work out but we still had fun trying!
