On Saturday we went to Blanchard Caverns and down by the waterfall. The caverns were so fun. Even Sawyer stayed pretty entertained until the end when he had enough of it all. Just tired and hungry. We enjoyed going by the water and the boys put their feet in. The older kids went horse back riding and zip lining. But Sawyer needed a nap, and Sam and Carter Wayne wanted to go swimming so we went back to the cabins. That night we went to the White River Hoedown and they did all their jokes about my Dad. So funny. At intermission some grouchy old man asked me to move to the back with the boys because they were too loud - it is a "hoedown" people, not an opera - but we moved. They were getting tired anyway. My brother came back there and said he never thought there would be a day where we would be somewhere and I would be the one to get kicked out and not him. I think he enjoyed that a little too much. :) The next day we went to eat catfish on the river with everyone before we headed home. Right outside of Mountain View we got a flat tire!!! I had to cross the highway to get reception on my phone so I could call my dad to come help us. But before I knew it my manly husband had changed the tire - in 103 degree heat I might add. Mom and Dad and the girls showed up to follow us back to Mt.View Wal-Mart and we got two new tires. Needless to say we were exhausted when we got home. But it was really such a fun vacation(minus the flat tire)!
