First Soccer Game

We had a great first official Dynamo soccer game! The kids did awesome and we had all 7 kids show up, too! We played the Tigers and lost by one point (7 to 6). But Coach Rodney assured me that it is more fun for the kids when everyone is scoring points and I totally agree. :) Carter Wayne really stayed in there with the ball and paid attention. He also had 0 meltdowns which I consider a great victory. He looked so cute in his uniform, but was a stinker about letting me get his picture. Sawyer enjoyed eating chips, playing with Grayson, and running out on the field during the game. I am sure everyone enjoyed me running out there to catch him! Our sweet coaches prayed before the game and that touched my heart. Lance and Carter Wayne are blessed to have such great dads! Our cheering section was the loudest by far and the most supportive of both teams. I think it is going to be a great soccer season.

The cold front moved in...

and we love it! Long sleeve shirts and shorts, my favorite combo on my little guys. Rodney grilled burgers, the boys played outside, we raised the windows. It was great. We ended the night with our new tradition of bath and then watching a Blues' Clues episode while laying in Mommy and Daddy's bed. I love my life!

While we were at the game...

My wonderful Momma watches the boys while we head off to cheer on the Hogs. Believe me she likes that way better than the game, but, I still so appreciate her. Her and Carter Wayne made a volcano while we were gone. Carter Wayne got this kit for his birthday and every time he wants to do it I always say, "That would be a perfect project for you and NeeNee." ;) I told Carter Wayne when Sawyer went down for a nap they could put it together. So from 11am on Carter Wayne was asking, "Is it rest time for Sawyer, yet?" We even worked it to our advantage by telling him that if he made Sawyer cry we couldn't put him down for a nap. I have never seen Carter Wayne be so sweet to his brother! Carter Wayne is so proud of that volcano and can't wait for it to fully dry so we can let the "lava" flow! Thanks to NeeNee for her love and patience. I love you!!!

Go Hogs - Beat Missouri State!

What a great first Razorback game! We won 51 to 7 and the team looks great! My stand out is Joe Adams - he was amazing! The boy can run. Our new parking spot was fantastic with lots of options for tailgating. We had time to shop at the Hog Heaven store and PawPaw bought us all a new Razorback apparel of some kind. Calli and I had a blast watching the game and all the funny people around us. She really is my favorite person to go to a game with. She is hilarious! The menfolk were pleased with the game as well. I know these are some easy teams we will face at first, but we have hope - and as a Razorback fan, sometimes, that is all you have. But this year is our year! (We always say that but this time we mean it!) Go Hogs!!!!

Saturday Morning Practice

Saturday morning we had another soccer practice. More of the kids were there and Matt was there to help Rodney coach. My parents and Calli made it in time to go watch, too. We have a really good team this year. We scrimmaged with another team and beat them 6 to 2. (I know you are not supposed to keep score, but secretly we do.) Grayson and Sawyer are obsessed with Sarah's iPhone that plays Thomas movies. My mom was saying she had to get a phone like that - just to play the movies for the kids. Such a grandma! Carter Wayne did really well at practice. He needs to be more aggressive, but he really did get in there an go after the ball. I am impressed at how much he has improved. It also motivates him to have his buddy Lance out there. Man, it was hot out there. We are supposed to have a cold front move in and I couldn't be happier. I am so ready for Fall!

It's time to Call Those HOGS!

One of my favorite Razorback memories was the game we went to the day after we got engaged. It was so fun! We left early for the game with my parents and the whole way there we were calling people to tell them about the engagement. It was so fun to run into people and say "Look we are engaged!" Precious Times!

Tomorrow is the first Razorback game and we are so excited. The house is clean and the yard looks great! My mom, dad, and CalCal will be here in the morning. Kick off is at 6pm but I am sure we will leave here at 1!. This year we actually got a parking pass and we are super pumped. Tomorrow we will scout it out and then plan a big tailgate next home game. We wanted to get a feel for everything. Also, Rodney and Dad like to get in there and get in their seats early. Coach needs us ready for game time. How cute are these cupcakes I got at Wal-Mart?!? At our first tailgate I totally plan to pretend that I made them. So cute and they are so good!

Soccer Time!

We had our first soccer practice this past Tuesday night. Rodney is coaching this year and our buddy Lance is on our team. His dad is going to help Rodney coach. :) The boys were pumped to get out there. Sawyer really wanted to be in on the action too. :) It was a great first practice and Lance and Carter Wayne had the best time. Rodney is such a great coach but I know I am biased. Can't wait for our first game!
