As I said before Carter Wayne celebrated his birthday the day after his Daddy got home from Africa. For the last 6 months he has prayed for two things EVERY night. This is how his prayers have gone, "Dear God, Thank you for Momma, Dadda, Sawyer and myself. For my birthday I pray for a drum set that NeeNee and PawPaw will get me and from Momma and Dadda I want a yellow Lego truck. I pray that we sleep good tonight and have a sunny, summer day tomorrow. Amen" When asked to pray at school this past year his teachers started to describe this prayer to me and I quoted it for them. They said "yeah that is the prayer, I hope it gets answered." So not as to shake any one's faith at such a young age, Carter Wayne awoke on his birthday to a drum set from his grandparents and a yellow Lego truck from his parents. And that night we thanked the Lord for answering our prayers. :) We also enjoyed a Cars Two cake before NeeNee and PawPaw had to head home. This is not a birthday I will soon forget. Love my sweet big boy and looking forward to a little variations in our prayers. :)
